Choosing Driving Lessons

Looking for help finding driving lessons?

How many driving lessons can it take to pass the driving test.

The Driving Standards Agency suggest that the average number of driving lessons it takes to pass the driving test is 45 hours of professional driving lessons plus around 20 hours of private practice.

You shouldn't try to compare the number of lessons it takes 1 person to pass the driving test with the number of lessons it takes another person to pass. Everybody is different and different people will take a different number of lessons to pass the driving test. A persons age can have an affect on how many lessons it takes to learn to drive, generally the older a person gets the longer it can take. Some people have a natural aptitude for driving and some people don't, although with practice and quality training most people will gain the skills required to pass the driving test.
