Dual controls.
|
Dual controls are an addition to a standard car that cost around £300-£500 pounds to have fitted they are an essential addition for all driving instructors making it possible to take some control of a car if a learner happens to lose control. Dual controls are not a requirement when taking a driving test in the U.K. although I'm sure most driving examiners prefer to be in a car where they can take some control of a situation if things become dangerous. The pedals fitted are brake pedal and clutch pedal and are located in the passenger side footwell of the car, there is no dual controlled accelerator pedal on cars used for U.K. driving tests. |
